May 2021 was momentous for Laila and Arif Merchant as the beaming parents watched their triplets cross the stage and graduate from The Mount Vernon School in Atlanta. What made this milestone even more special is that their children graduated top of their class, with Aqil as Valedictorian, and Alma and Anusha as co-Salutatorians.

To raise awareness of mental health issues globally and mobilise efforts around it, World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year. This year's theme highlights the urgency to make quality mental health care a reality for all.

We are pleased to share that on the afternoon of Thursday 7th October, President Naushad Jivraj along with volunteers and representatives of the Ismaili CIVIC team were invited to attend City Hall in London to meet the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to present our Ismaili CIVIC pledge of undertaking 100,000 hours of voluntary service.

For many of us who are not from Central Asia, our knowledge of the Ismaili tradition of this region begins and ends with the figure of Nasir-i Khusraw (d. after 1070).1 Without a doubt, Nasir-i Khusraw is a towering figure not only for the history of the Ismaili Tradition, but more generally for the intellectual history of the Islamic world.
