The GICD initiative was organised and delivered simultaneously in Maputo, Beira, Nampula, Tete, Gaza, Quelimane, Pemba and Chimoio impacting several local communities involving 61 activities and events, 112 external volunteers and 805 Jamat volunteers involving 3.912 hours of volunteer service which ultimately benefited 4.931 citizens across the country.

 

The local communities recognized the nationwide efforts with events taking place with the presence of local dignitaries, generating 26 media mentions nationwide and several institutional letters of appreciation.

 

A word of aprreciation to all volunteers and participants in the event. Only with their support and help we were able to help and contribute to a better day to almost 5.000 citizens.
