Celebration of Service Week is an annual tradition that is held to commemorate our time-honored tradition of service and offer our deepest appreciation to all our volunteers for their exemplary efforts. Our Jamat is blessed with many volunteers who dedicate their time and talents in various capacities to ensure positive, fulfilling experiences for all members of our community. During this week, we invite all Jamati members to participate in various workshops, sessions, and activities to celebrate our volunteers through art, expression, and memories. Global Encounters is now the parent organisation where many international initiatives reside including Jubilee Arts, Jubilee Games, Global Encounters Camps and Internships, Heritage Journeys, a new Talent Institute and many other international programmes.
An Iftar reception was hosted at the Ismaili Jamat Khana and Centre, Dhaka, attended by leaders of fellow faith communities, including Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Bohora communities, as well as members of the civil society, alongside leaders of the Jamat and the Aga Khan Development Network.
