As part of the social responsibility of the IAOC - Agrarian Institute of Bilibiza (now in Ocua), in coordination with the Aga Khan Foundation Mozambique under its project, Improvement and Modernization Programme of IABil (now in Ocua) has joined forces with one of its suppliers, Tasha Comercial, and in commemoration of the month of Ramadan, have donated 40 mattresses to elderly people who recently have been relocated into the transit accommodation center for IDPs in Chiure.
At the invitation of the Diplomatic Representative of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) Nazim Ahmad, the Minister of Education and Human Development Rita Carmelita Namashulua visited the Aga Khan Academy, located in Matola on April 28, 2021.

Over the past 15 years, the Aga Khan Foundation in Mozambique has invested and worked hard for the strengthening of Civil Society in the communities in the north of the country, particularly in Cabo Delgado province, through the creation and renewal of Village Development Organisations (VDOs), which are local governance structures comprised of democratically elected community members.
Within the framework of the joint initiative to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Mozambique, the Government of the Portuguese Republic, through Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e Língua (bilateral agency of co-operation), and the Aga Khan Development Network Mozambique (AKDN-M), donated medical protection material: 100,000 surgical masks and 5,000 disposable individual protection gowns for medical personnel and other health professionals to the governmental entities in Maputo Province, including the City of Matola.
The Aga Khan Academy Maputo has become a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), a membership community working with international schools to enhance their high-quality education.
