Health Training Sessions - Volunteers

As a part of Covid Crisis Response a Volunteer Training has been scheduled for Maputo, Nampula, Beira and Tete. The purpose for this training is to build capacity within the volunteers corps to better serve the Jamat during home isolation and in the isolation centre should the need arise. The training will focus on use of personal protective equipment, nutrition, trash and laundry handling.

Volunteers making a difference

In the Ismaili tradition service is a way of life which is faith driven. Volunteers are pillars of the community and strive to deliver excellence in service with humility, integrity and compassion. Not only are they dedicated but they find ways to improve what they already know to better serve the Jamat. As such, The Human Resources Portfolio launched a proactive initiative called The Volunteer Skill Development Program which took place on February 22nd, 23rd, 29th and March 1st 2020 in Maputo, Mozambique.
IVC Celebrating 100 Years

November, 23rd 2019, the Mozambican Volunteers gathered for the remarkable celebration of 100 years of the Ismaili Volunteers Corps. Over the past 100 years, volunteers across the world have served the Imam of the Time, Jamat and Institutions, with hard work, dedication and love.
