Participating in theatre and drama activities helped Rosa Jorge from a very young age. It gave her the courage to break out of her shell and now she wants to empower her students at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo with the same tools to become well-rounded individuals.

A blood donation camp was organized on 9 February 2020, at Edificio de Sua Alteza Aga Khan in Maputo, with the aim to help the community with the precious gift of blood, along with facilitating access to certain basic health tests.

During his visit to Maputo, Mozambique, His Highness the Aga Khan toured the Aga Khan Academy’s Professional Development Centre (PDC). In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, an approach to whole school improvement has been developed, including the training of teachers and head teachers aimed at improving teaching and learning in the schools in Matola district surrounding the Academy site.
