Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the blood reserve have reduced and are no longer enough to face the needs of the Hospital. Since blood donation camps were unexisting for several months, the Health Portfolio organized a blood donation camp on the past 15th August 2020 to support this cause.
The campaign was organized at Edificio Sua Alteza Aga Khan in Maputo and following all preventing measures against the pandemic such as social distancing, use of masks, hand sanitizer and schedulled time for groups of 5 participants to avoid concentration of people.
The number of participants was of 40 members.
