As part of the process to keep the youth fit, active and motivated, The Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board for Pakistan organised a Sports Fellowship basketball coaching programme in Gilgit and Karachi.

The Aga Khan University hosted “Rays of Light”, a multi-dimensional exhibition dedicated to celebrating 60 years of His Highness the Aga Khan’s efforts in serving humanity, in Pakistan for the first time.

In Islamic tradition, society is encouraged to leave behind a wholesome and sustainable natural environment for those who will inherit the Earth. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is believed to have said "Even if the end of time is upon you and you have a seedling in your hand, plant it."

Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa travelled to Pakistan for a six-day working visit in late October 2018, which included stops in several districts of Gilgit-Baltistan as well as in Chitral district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, along with the capital city of Islamabad and the southern city of Karachi. 

A unique international exhibition, "Rays of Light", is set to visit Pakistan very shortly. This inspiring and interactive exhibition celebrates the Imamat of Mawlana Hazar Imam and is an unparalled opportunity to experience Mawlana Hazar Imam's vision and untiring efforts for his Jamat over the years. Mawlana Hazar Imam, accompanied by the Noorani family, first inaugurated this groundbreaking photographic and multimedia exhibition in 2008. In July 2018, it was an integral part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Lisbon.
