The Ismaili Centre Dubai, Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF), the International Committee of the Red Cross in UAE and the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat held a discussion on the current and future state of emergency medical and humanitarian aid and international development.
The Ismaili Centre Vancouver was honoured to partner with the Institute for Canadian Citizenship to host a citizenship ceremony in the social hall. Members of the Canadian government, leaders from the Ismaili community, new citizens and their guests were in attendance.

Inclusive Flamenco entertainment, Real Dreams in Possible Bodies by José Galán, the only flamenco entertainment company in Spain for people with special needs, and people with disabilities was held at the Ismaili Centre Dubai in partnership with the Embassy of Spain.
Liberal Finance Minister Bill Morneau faced opposing political candidates in an All Candidates’ Forum hosted by the Ismaili Centre, Toronto. The debate allowed members from all political parties to engage in dialogue in advance of Canada’s federal election. Candidates discussed four key issues — climate change, economic security, international affairs, and diversity — moderated by Aleem Kanji, Vice President of Government Relations at the Sutherland Corporation, a public affairs and strategic communications firm.
Candidates from Burnaby, BC running to become Members of Parliament through this year’s federal election taking place on October 21, 2019 participated in a community town hall for the Burnaby South Constituency hosted at the Ismaili Centre, Vancouver.
