"As a pharmacist, the dedication to serve, to lead, and to teach is what I embrace daily, which resonates with my alma mater," he said.
His passion to pursue pharmacy came from by working as a pharmacy technician and as a pharmacy IT analyst with strong encouragement from his father who was an entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical wholesales and distribution in Pakistan and his late-mother who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for decades.
"It’s that same dedication and courage that keeps my passion alive to serve patients and treat them as family members," he added.
Dr Kazani also volunteers as a Pharmacist-Preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
"The concept of volunteering and serving as a non-uniformed volunteer is what I exercise whenever possible because this is what permits professionals to provide Time and Knowledge for Jamat's benefit."
In his message to fellow Ismaili healthcare professionals , Dr Amin said, “Kudos to all the Jamati members globally to consistently exercising precautions during this pandemic, you all are heroes too. Hats off to all the physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, and all other healthcare professionals that serve all patients and Jamat in their communities globally."
Like almost all healthcare professionals he exercises all precautionary steps when going home after work to his wife, their nine-month-old daughter, and his elderly father.
