Born in India, Rozina went on to graduate from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and then pursued a Master’s degree in Health Science from University of Western Sydney in Australia.
Rozina said the most challenging parts of her role is the availability of personal protective equipment as well as keeping up with the constant and rapid changes to the infection prevention policies and guidelines.
“I believe that we can only control the controllable and therefore my advice to the Jamat is to follow (and teach your children) good hygiene practices and be prepared for bigger challenges. Use technology to stay socially connected and stay safe. We shall overcome this pandemic together.”
In this unprecedented times, I give my best to help our patients, staff, visitors, community and my country, at large. I have two girls, Ariana (5yo) and Charlotte (1yo) and we all share moments of flying kisses (no hugs and touching) after my work. As much as I miss spending time with them during this isolation phase, I am blessed to have a supportive husband who cares for them while I work and I am proud to help people in need in this challenging pandemic. I hope and pray that this shall end soon.
