تم تفعيل حوالي 825 متطوعًا مدربًا على الاستجابة لحالات الطوارئ في المجلس الاسماعيلي حيث كانوا جاهزين لتقديم المساعدة في حال حدوث انهيارات للمباني أو أي طارئ آخر. وقد تلقى المتطوعون تدريبات تُمكنهم من التعامل مع المواقف الحرجة بسرعة وفعالية كما تضامنت الجهود بين الجمعيات والفرق الطوعية في المدينة استجابة لهذا الحدث الطارئ
