This is an opportunity for all high school students and parents to explore one of the top universities in the country, and hear from current Georgia Tech students, and learn about the college admissions process. Panelists will discuss the role of monetary offerings in our tariqah and include Al Waeza Dr. Nargis Virani, Al Waez Nadim Pabani, and STEP RAL Mehak Lalani.

Join award-winning Ismaili journalist Ali Velshi on September 22 at 7:45 p.m/ at Northeast Jamatkhana as he shares his family's remarkable 125-year migration journey—from a tiny, drought-stricken village under British colonial rule in Gujarat, through the harsh apartheid realities of South Africa and the nationalistic backlash in Kenya, to the democratic opportunities and privileges of North America. Velshi will discuss themes of perseverance, the fight for equality, and the experiences of being Muslim in the United States. This event is open to the Jamat, including multi-faith family members.
