Over the last two years, the Ismaili Jamat in Pretoria, South Africa, has engaged with the Department of Architecture from the University of Tshwane and Centre for Faith and Community from the University of Pretoria, to share and explore the rich heritage and history of Ismailis in Marabastad area in Gauteng province in South Africa, which is part of metro Pretoria Area. The Jamat has also provided access to both universities to the library and archives of Dr. Mohamed Keshavjee's collection.

Panellists at the Kusi Ideas Festival discussed issues relating to the climate crisis and and its impact on Africa.

Nairobi, Kenya this week played host to the fourth annual Kusi Ideas Festival, which brought together bold voices to discuss the climate crisis and its impact on Africa. The opening session included remarks by Prince Rahim on behalf of the Aga Khan Development Network.

A multi-campus convocation ceremony was organised to celebrate the achievements of the Aga Khan University’s Class of 2021.

Graduands, faculty, staff, and special guests gathered for an exciting event full of energy and enthusiasm to celebrate the achievements of the Aga Khan University’s Class of 2021.

On the historic evening of 14 January 1922, as daylight turned to dusk, prayers were recited at the Nairobi Town Jamatkhana for the very first time.

The Aga Khan Academies are ideal places to make lifelong friendships.

High school student Aimaan Sayani has lived in Pakistan and Canada, and spent five years studying at the Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa, Kenya. “When I used to hear Aga Khan Academies students talk about studying there, and when I read about the school, I was so intrigued,” she said.
