Continuing our Salgirah Songs series, The Ismaili is pleased to present We are the World, a remix of a popular track from the 1980s, performed by artists in Canada. The song’s lyrics express gratitude and love for Mawlana Hazar Imam on the occasion of his 84th birthday.

Featuring a variety of content — from an inspiring theatre production to a special birthday party organised by children — we hope to entertain and inspire the Jamat on this joyous and special occasion.
This thought-provoking discussion, hosted by the Ismaili Centre London, will feature leading voices from South Kensington’s world-renowned cultural quarter, including speakers from the Goeth-Institut London, Natural History Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum, Serpentine Galleries, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. President for the National Council for the UK, Naushad Jivraj, will deliver the opening remarks and the discussion will be moderated by Lord Vaizey of Didcot, former United Kingdom Minister of Culture.
