For the next 15 years, objects from one of the world’s largest private collections of Islamic art are on loan to the Dallas Museum of Art. An event introducing the first exhibition from the collection opened in September 2015 with a special performance by the Ismaili Muslim Youth Choir of Dallas.

London, 4 February 2016 — Deploring the devastation in war-ravaged Syria, Mawlana Hazar Imam called for the establishment of “islands of stability” to provide areas of relative safety in the midst of conflict. Hazar Imam pledged $200 million towards achieving peace, stability, and reconstruction in the country.
10 January 2016 — National Ismaili Councils worldwide announced today that the 2016 Jubilee Games will be held between 22 – 29 July in Dubai.
As the year drew to a close, Ismaili Muslim athletes from across the Gulf region came together in Dubai to take part in the 2015 Gulf Games. The event was a qualifier for the Jubilee Games — also set to take place in Dubai later this year.
