Ottawa, 16 May 2017 — Mawlana Hazar Imam and His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada officially opened the new international headquarters of the Global Centre for Pluralism today.
Prince Amyn was in Vancouver on 11 and 12 May to participate in the opening of a new exhibition at the University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology. Speaking to a crowd of approximately 1,800 guests at Thursday’s public exhibition kick off, Prince Amyn talked about the importance of the relationships that the Aga Khan Museum has with other museums, including the Louvre in France and the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, Russia.

A little over a year ago, the Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board for Pakistan launched a sports training programme, which proved to be popular and successful ahead of the 2016 Jubilee Games. This winter, the Youth and Sports Board expanded the programme to include golf, ice skating and ice hockey.
