Designation -  Program Coordinator – Climate Change and DRR

Location - Porbandar (Gujarat)

Qualification - Master’s degree in Disaster Management, Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, Environmental Sciences, Development studies, Social Work, and other related streams.

Experience - At least 05 years of relevant professional experience (ideally, including policy making and high-level coordination).

Responsibilties -
1. Compiles, analyses, and clarifies all the information, data, photographs etc regarding environmental management and climate change.
2. Helps in analysing existing climate or environmental management legislation, regulations, policies, and practices to determine actual and potential environment impacts.
3. Supports in communicating research findings to legislators, regulatory agencies, or other stakeholders.
4. Helps reviewing new or adapted laws and policies involving factors that have the potential to impact climate.
5. Facilitate meetings and coordination with government agencies or environmental groups regarding environmental issues and other challenges
6. Facilitates collaboration with stakeholders to develop educational and outreach programs regarding climate change.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills - 
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
*Excellent data analysis, mathematical, and deductive reasoning skills.
*Thorough understanding of environmental science, disaster management and climate change.
*Thorough understanding of legislative and regulatory processes related to environmental management and climate change.
