Prince Rahim attended the 18th edition of the Al Burda Award ceremony, an esteemed celebration of Islamic art and culture hosted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Culture yesterday. Prince Rahim’s presence highlighted the Aga Khan Development Network’s (AKDN) shared commitment with the UAE to fostering cultural dialogue and advancing pluralism through the arts.

In August 1994, Mawlana Hazar Imam shared some happy news with the Jamat. During a darbar in London, UK, he explained that his eldest child, Princess Zahra, had graduated from university, and would join him to work by his side.
The Ismaili is pleased to present “Shukranlillah Walhamdulillah,” a devotional expression to commemorate Mawlana Hazar Imam’s 88th birthday. Filmed at the Ismaili Centre Vancouver, the music video brings together 88 young vocalists from the British Columbia Jamat to celebrate Salgirah.
On 13 December 2024, the global Jamat will celebrate the 88th birthday of our present living Imam, His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan. The celebration of Hazar Imam's birthday is an occasion for Ismailis to reflect on the unique spiritual bond that links each murid to Hazar Imam. It also affords the Jamat an opportunity to express its love, loyalty, and devotion to the Imamat, which binds the Ismaili community together as one.
The Ismaili is pleased to present Rangeen Mubarak, a festive composition produced for the occasion of Salgirah. The song’s lyrics reflect on the grace, guidance, and beauty found in devotion to one’s spiritual guide, which brightens both the physical and spiritual realms.
To introduce the Gujarati translation of Ismaili Festivals: Stories of Celebration authored by Dr. Shiraz Kabani , ITREB India, in collaboration with the Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS), held memorable book launch events in Mumbai and Ahmedabad on October 25th and 27th 2024 respectively.
