Location - Hyderabad, Telangana
Qualification - Master's degree (or higher) in Sociology, Agriculture, Engineering, Economics, Rural Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related fields is required.
Experience - Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a comparable role, with a focus on rural poverty alleviation, livelihood enhancement, or social development programs.
Job Responsibilities -
- Lead livelihood strategy development across four pillars: (i) social protection for income security, (ii) livelihoods promotion through asset transfer and skills training, (iii) financial inclusion, and (iv) social empowerment via regular MRPs check-ins and life-skills support. Support to build confidence, adaptability and resilience.
- Design the non-farm, off farm and farm-based livelihood activities/ skill training, and strategy for the ultra-poor in the context of their capabilities and endowments, geographies, resources and potential and based on the results of the scoping studies conducted.
- Map the value chain of livelihoods identified, identifying challenges that may occur and identify relevant mitigation strategies.

-The candidate should have excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Telugu (spoken and written) will be an advantage
