Toronto, 20 January 2016 — Local community members were given an opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns at a pre-budget town hall meeting hosted by Members of Parliament for Don Valley East, Don Valley West and Willowdale and held at the Ismaili Centre, Toronto.
Vancouver, 19 January 2016 — Over 250 students in grades 9 and 10 were given the opportunity to use 3D printing technology and online design tools to create a city and urban spaces.
Naushad was inspired by the number of committed individuals who wanted to improve the general health and eye care of the communities they served. He was able to speak with the leaders of various institutions such as the Chief Ophthalmologist of Chitral Government Hospital and the CEO of AKHSP, Chitral (PK) to review the current services provided in the region and how they envisioned eye care being developed to support future community needs.

London, 12 January 2016 — The annual Milad-un-Nabi lecture at the Ismaili Centre, London was delivered by Dr Stephen R. Burge. The lecture explored the aspects of the supernatural in Prophet Muhammad’s life (peace be upon him and his family) using material found in the biographies of the Prophet, and in the hadith literature.

The European Jamat Committee (EJC) teams across Europe are working with murids who have recently arrived in Europe. Many of them have experienced difficult times prior to and/or during their journey to Europe. Toronto, 17 December 2015 — The Ontario Minister of Education, the Honourable Liz Sandals toured the Aga Khan Museum and Ismaili Centre for the first time today. The visit provided an occasion to advance discussions related to curriculum under the Accord of Cooperation between the province of Ontario and the Ismaili Imamat.
Toronto, 9 December 2015 — Dr Samantha Nutt, founder of the international humanitarian organisation War Child presented the 2015 Ismaili Centre International Lecture in Toronto. The event was part of a cross-Canada series that also included Vancouver and Calgary.

Toronto, 26–28 November 2015 — Constantinople, a multi-media theatrical performance by the Gryphon Trio was showcased for three nights at the Ismaili Centre, Toronto. It explored the spirit of an ancient city at the cultural crossroads of East and West.
Nearly 1 000 athletes will compete at the United States Ismaili Games over the upcoming Thanksgiving Day weekend. The sports tournament will take place in Dallas, Texas between 26–29 November.
