Nawruz, meaning ‘a new day’ in Persian, is a traditional Persian festival which has been celebrated for over 3000 years. Although rooted in the cultural and religious traditions of the Zoroastrians, it is now part of many Muslim traditions, including the Ismailis.

What is a consortium?
A consortium is more than a loose partnership of organizations working and learning together (although they will do both in a consortium). It is a formal arrangement between organizations working together to a defined objective. Clarity of purpose is essential.
Through service we express our love for our Imam and hope to acquire intimacy with Allah. It is a way for us to enact our humanity. Service also provides us with an opportunity to get to know each other and form bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood. Let us re-commit to maintaining this wonderful tradition.
