Industrial Promotion Services, IPS, Kenya is hiring COO, responsible for the success of the Operating Companies in East Africa (which includes Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, DR Congo, Mozambique, Madagascar and Rwanda) and provides leadership to position each company at the forefront of the industry in a changing environment. IPS is dedicated to promoting private sector entrepreneurship and building economically sound enterprises. The COO is tasked with developing a strategic plan to advance the IPS vision, mission and objectives and promote industrial and infrastructural development while impacting the communities where IPS operates. IPS companies in Africa and Asia incorporate the most appropriate advanced production technologies across a wide range of projects, from export-oriented agro-industries to printing and packaging and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on strategic and operational leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. Experience in both start-ups and mature organisations, ideally in Africa and Asia regions or multi-country settings. Results driven across cross-functional teams and diverse industrial and infrastructure sectors.
