Based in Decatur, Georgia, USA, Shelina Jiwani has been working at the Emory hospital for the past 21 years. She has been at the forefront of treating Covid-19 patients since the start of the pandemic.

Shelina has been taking care of the patients who have tested positive or negative and also the ones in the ICU on ventilators. She graduated from the Aga Khan University in Pakistan in 1991 and during her duty in the ongoing pandemic, she has seen patients who have recovered as well as a few who have not been as fortunate.

As a Covid-19 frontline worker, she urges everyone to follow all government guidelines and stay home as much as possible.
