Mawla Mawla is a celebratory tribute for Mawlana Hazar Imam’s Salgirah this year, performed by Zaheed Damani and Cimone Rajan. The song is inspired by the classic Happy Birthday originally released by The Rajans in 1986 for Hazar Imam’s 50th birthday.

As we prepare to celebrate Mawlana Hazar Imam’s 87th birthday, The Ismaili brings you a recorded reading from the book Ismaili Festivals: Stories of Celebration, in which author Shiraz Kabani describes how the happy occasion of Salgirah is commemorated in various parts of the world.
The Ismaili is pleased to present Mawlood Mubarak, produced by Nooruddin Noori, and performed by artists from across the world. This track brings together poetry, melodies, rhythms, and movements from Central Asia to inspire a united and historic Salgirah celebration.
In the lead up to Salgirah, The Ismaili is pleased to present a sing-along version of the song, How can I tell my Mawla I love him? which was developed as a companion to the story and animated short film of the same title. The song offers children an opportunity to sing, dance, and get excited about showing their love for Mawlana Hazar Imam.
