Last week, special guests attended an Imamat Day reception at the Diwan of the Ismaili Imamat in Lisbon. They were treated to a special performance by the Aga Khan Master Musicians, renowned performers and composer-arrangers in collaboration with the Amara Quartet, an all-female ensemble known for their contemporary renditions of the Portuguese traditional Fado.

The Ismaili is pleased to present Roz-e Imamat, performed by music artists from Central Asia and the Middle East. The song’s lyrics express gratitude for the Jamat’s blessings and fortune on the occasion of Imamat Day.

The Ismaili is pleased to present Fariyaad Sunn, written by Zulfiqar Ali Jessani and performed by Dr Karim Gillani. The video, directed by Alizain Mevawala, was filmed at the Aga Khan Garden near Edmonton, Canada.
