What is the Ismaili Youth Challenge?
AKYSB and ITREB, in collaboration with Ismaili CIVIC are excited to launch the Ismaili Youth Challenge, a 5-week summer challenge for all Jamati members aged 7-17 years starting Monday 1st July. The challenge involves 5-weekly activities related to the Environment, ranging from recycling in your home to planting vegetables. Register and submit your weekly tasks via The Ismaili App. All youth who complete the 5-week challenge will receive a certificate.
What are the weekly challenges?
- Week 1 (1st - 7th July): Recycle 7 items
Try and find 7 items of plastic, paper, cardboard or metal and recycle them correctly. - Week 2 (8th - 14th July): Donate to your local charity shop
Donate 3 items to your local charity shop in order to help those in need and save resources. - Week 3 (15th - 21st July): Pick up 10 pieces of litter in your area
Volunteer just a small amount of your time to pick up 10 pieces of litter in your local area. - Week 4 (22nd - 28th July): Grow your own fruit or vegetables
Test your green thumbs with your “grow your own fruit or veg” challenge. - Week 5 (29th July - 4th August): Food donation drive
Donating food helps combat hunger and fosters stronger, more resilient communities. Participate in the food drive at your local Jamatkhana.
Each week's challenge will push your creativity and help you learn more about protecting our planet. Plus, everyone who completes the challenge will receive a certificate! Don't miss out on this fun and rewarding experience.
