The FinLit4Kids programme, in partnership with ITREB, will be delivered in Baitul Ilms across the UK by trained facilitators. Two 45 minute-sessions are delivered each academic year for all classes from Nursery and Pre Primary to Secondary 1 and 2.
The base curriculum has been created by experts in their field with enhancements made by the AKEPB team. Topics include budgeting, savings, understanding needs vs wants, introducing debt, how banks work and much more. The programme is delivered through fun interactive learning styles, such as games, puzzles and real life role playing.
The current roll out plan:
• June 2024 - Leicester and North London Baitul Ilms (90 students)
• November 2024 - Birmingham and South London Baitul Ilms
We hope to cover all Baitul Ilms across the UK and will continue adding new dates as move forward.
In order to successfully deliver this programme, we need your help.
Please sign up as facilitators and spread the word among family and friends. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on the development of our youth. We strongly encourage parents and multi-faith family members to apply.
