Portal Pearson English is a website that allows access, in a single platform, to tools and resources for teaching and learning the English language. Besides these resources, Pearson English develops several webinars and events, related to the most diverse areas, from Economy, Education, Mindfulness and also Career Skills.
In the Career Skills area, during the quarantine period, they developed a series of webinars with the objective of helping people to recognize and acquire basic skills to improve and make a career leap. The webinars in this area are based on the decision making process, leadership, organization and teamwork in order to help foster these soft skills.
The webinar "Career Skills - Teamwork" conducted by Rachel Roberts, lasting about 1 hour, aims to explore a series of practical activities to help participants relate as a group; help people to individually identify (their) strengths that they can bring to a team and also develop skills in which they are not yet confident.
It will also address the importance of the leader in a group and the various ways of dealing with conflict as a team and also how to teach participants how to deal with conflict appropriately and positively. In fact, with exercises for both teachers and students or for those who are looking to improve their skills, this webinar is intended for all those who are curious about how to explore this competence.
