On the final day of Mawlana Hazar Imam's Diamond Jubilee visit to India, the Jamat of Western India gathered on the grounds of Mumbai University's Kalina campus as Mawlana Hazar Imam graced them with a Diamond Jubilee Darbar.

Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Mumbai today on the final stop of his Diamond Jubilee visit to India. He was received at the airport by Prof. Ram Shinde, Cabinet Minister, Government for Maharashtra for Water Conservation and Protocol; Shri. Raj Gopal Deora, Principal Secretary of Protocol; and Shri. JaiJeet Singh, Additional Director General of Police, Maharashtra; along with leaders of the Jamat.
LEGO Robotics, English Upgrading, and Math Numeracy programs delivered in Tajikistan

Three TKN volunteers – Sobia Makhani, Ashna Suchak, and Kais Khimji – delivered programmes for the Aga Khan Education Service (AKES) in Tajikistan (AKES) in the summer of 2017. Sobia delivered the first junior LEGO robotics programme in the region, while Ashna ran the schools summer English upgrading programme, and Kais taught Mathematics numeracy.

The Aga Khan Trust for Culture commenced conservation and landscaping works at Sunder Nursery in 2007. The area has since flourished into a park comprising of formal and informal gardens, water features, orchards, pavilions, bird habitats, and a sunken amphitheatre for cultural events and festivals. The Mughal-inspired central areas feature marble fountains and flowing water set amidst geometric flower beds, and raised pathways.
