Today marked day five of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration - Lisboa 2018, which included Mawlana Hazar Imam's meetings with the President and Prime Minister of Portugal, as well as the final two International Talent Showcases.

President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa officially welcomed Mawlana Hazar Imam to Portugal on 9 July with full state honours at Palácio de Belém, the official residence of the President.

President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa officially welcomed Mawlana Hazar Imam to Portugal on 9 July with full state honours at Palácio de Belém, the official residence of the President. Before entering the presidential palace on Monday, Mawlana Hazar Imam and President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa paused to observe the Portugal Army Band’s rendition of the Portuguese National Anthem and the Nashid al-Imamah.
Prince Hussain and Prince Aly Muhammad attended the Diamond Jubilee Celebration on 8 July, to join members of the Jamat in viewing films, exhibitions, galleries, and performances by artists from around the world.
The Portuguese Jamat had an opportunity to showcase their talents at the Pátio Mela. Bem Vindo a Portugal (Welcome to Portugal), featured artists of all ages from across the Portugal jurisdiction Jamat, performing for the audience.
A musical performance by Anthem of Joy from Pakistan, performed during the Jubilee Arts International Talent Showcase in Lisbon, Portugal on the afternoon of 8 July.
