Welcome and arrival kit
Since the last quarter of 2021, 125 Ismaili refugees have arrived in Portugal, 121 of whom are Afghans and 4 Syrians. They were immediately accomodated in hotel establishments and received an arrival kit, as shown in the photo above, and since then they have been accompanied and supported on daily basis by Ismaili institutions, including FOCUS, and volunteers from the Ismaili community. The integration process is carried out under a programme sponsored by the Portuguese Government through European funds. Welcome!
