PRESIDENTIAL DECREE Nº 23/21 FROM 15TH JANUARY 2021
Update on the Exceptional and Temporary Measures to Be in Force During the Public Calamity Situation

Temporary Suspension of Air Connections (Flights):

• Starting from 00H00 of 24th January 2021, all the aerial connections of passengers with South Africa, Portugal and Brazil are temporarily suspended;
• Depending on the evolution of the epidemiologic situation, the flight suspension will be reviewed;

Mandatory test at the airport:

• Starting from 00H00 of 16th January 2021, all the citizens coming from abroad must be tested at Angola International Airport;
• The test to be done is an Antigen quick test;
• If the result is positive citizens must go to institutional isolation, and if the result is negative citizens procced to a home quarantine;

Quarantine:

• The home quarantine as a duration of 7 to 10 days and ends after a Covid-19 test with negative result that must be used to obtain an Epidemiologic Release issued by Municipal Health Direction;
• The violation of home quarantine results in a fine of 150.000,00 AKZ to 200.000,00 AKZ;

Borders defense and sanitary control:

• Angola borders remain closed with entries and exits subjected to a sanitary control defined by competent authorities according to the International Sanitary Regulation and the National Sanitary Regulation;
