Poverty Elimination, NCDRC - Family Mentors Lead and Administrative Program Secretary – Kinshasa, DRC
Poverty Elimination program under the National Council, DRC is looking to appoint a Family Mentors Lead and Administrative Program Secretary based in Kinshasa.
Family Mentor Lead will lead the Family Mentors’ team and assist the Program director in various aspects such as administrative, organisational, training, data gathering etc.
Family Mentors provide holistic and comprehensive case management to families enrolled in the FMP including assessing needs, goal setting, case planning, monitoring, and encouraging progress, advocacy, and referrals. Family Mentors Lead will also be responsible for managing staff (paid full time FM) and Family Facilitators (Volunteers) at any time.

Requirements:
Profile
● Professional or personal experience in dealing with issues of poverty and/or family distress
● Bachelor’s Degree at the minimum
● Leader in the community; enjoys trust from a variety of stakeholders
● Good Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi
● English language proficiency is mandatory (written and spoken)
● Very good written skills in English
● Very good organisation & administrative skills
● Very well versed with technology for data gathering and documentation (MS office, Icloud, et...)
● Practices absolute discretion and has the ability to handle sensitive information
● Engages with Jamat professionally and cordially
● Works effectively and collaboratively in teams
● Practices self-care and knows personal limits
● Can accommodate a non-traditional work week, including working evenings and weekends
● Can participate in training as and when required
