21 children went to the dentist
The health of the newcomers is one of the areas to which FOCUS gives particular relevance. Thus, 21 children up to 5 years old from newly arrived families were referred for stomatology consultations at the Lusíadas Almada and Oriente clinics for hygiene/treatment of their teeth. Among them was a 5 year old boy who hadn't slept for four nights with pain. During the consultations, parents and children also learned how to brush properly their teeth. All these children will, from now on, be followed, free of charge, at Serviço Odontopediátrico de Lisboa (SOL) of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa
