With just three sports left to be decided, many of the athletes at the Diamond Jubilee Sports Festival in Islamabad had headed home with medals and memories but there was still plenty of action in the remaining three sports: cricket, football and traditional volleyball. All three are hugely popular and fiercely contested and the day saw some thrilling games. Our resident anchor, Uzma Al Karim also took the opportunity to talk to some of the remaining athletes about their ambitions and experience. From those who aspire to a career in sports to those aiming for more traditional careers, such as in medicine, our DJSF athletes are a diverse bunch.
