Drawing inspiration from Mawlana Hazar Imam’s guidance, the Bridge Programme serves as an initiative to improve academic performance and foster the holistic development of secondary students. The Bridge Programme focuses on equipping students with the necessary skills to enhance their chances of gaining admission to prestigious schools.
Noor ul Ain was a student at Army Public School, Gupis Yasin when she participated in the Bridge Camp in 2019. Noor ul Ain stated, “I came to Bridge with a lot of expectations related to my studies. Along with my education, I learned a lot about health, self-esteem and self-confidence.” She added, “All this helped me to reach a successful stage in my life.”
Noor ul Ain was determined to attain a good quality education; however, she felt she had limited access to learning opportunities and good academic resources. The Bridge Programme became the gateway to unlock a path for her to excel academically.
With her dedication and hard work, she received admission to IYS and is now empowering children from her valley to seek knowledge and work for the sustainable development of their region.
Noor ul Ain described her Bridge Programme journey in three words: self-discovery, growth and development. Her message for all the students who are a part of the Bridge Programme: “Take full advantage from this opportunity and learn from all the challenges you face.”
Noor ul Ain aspires to become the first female pilot from her valley and is working towards making her dream a reality. There is no doubt that the sky is the limit for her. One day, in the near future, she may even soar above that sky.
