The planetarium is designed by architect Ali Imam. The Planetarium dome simulates Earth and its cool blue sky. This dome-shaped theater was built with the latest equipment, enabling visitors to soar into space as well as experience the thrills of an interplanetary journey in a three-dimensional environment. The curved ceiling represents the sky and shows moving images of planets and stars through projection onto a large-screen dome at an angle of 120 degrees.

This planetarium features three kinds of exhibits. They Journey to Infinity presents a celestial show of stars, planets and other heavenly bodies in virtual reality. The Ai Amader Bangladesh features Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman`s 7 March lecture, while The Grand Canyon describes North America`s settlement clan, Garikhad, which existed in The Grand Canyon four thousand years ago.

The objective of the visit was to help students enhance their knowledge and learning about the history, culture, tradition of Bangladesh and the Vast Creation of Allah.

Students watched video on History of Bangladesh, which showcased the past of Bangladesh war history and what happened during the time. People behind the triumph and who lead the country to victory. It is a good attraction for visit.3D movie of Dawn of the Space Age followed with tour of Digital and Scientific Exhibit Gallery. Everyone loved the different corners of the gallery, which had Digital Canvas, Holowall Table, Columbus Egg, DNA composition, Eathquake system, Magic Vision, Tornado System, Helicopter Hovering, Air Rocket, Imaging Mirror, Motion Magic Mirror, Biological Motion, Digital Canvas, to name a few. Lastly students experienced 5D Interactive Edutainment Simulator movie.

The students and teachers just loved every minute of the program and learnt a lot from each and everything. After the visit everyone enjoyed the delicious lunch at the well-known Thai Restaurant and had lots of fun. This was the perfect example of learning through entertainment.
