The Ismaili Leaders’ International Forum announced on Saturday that Mawlana Hazar Imam, at the invitation of the Governments of Uganda and Tanzania, has confirmed that he will visit both countries in early October. Details of the visits will be shared once confirmed.
The announcement included a reminder that these visits would be limited in scope and therefore members of the community are respectfully advised that access to Jubilee Darbars will be restricted to the jurisdiction Jamats. Members of the Jamat from outside of these local areas are therefore requested to refrain from travelling to Uganda or Tanzania given the compact timeframe and local considerations including capacity and timing.
