Healthy Hints

Yoghurt is a rich source of protein and calcium — try to have three servings of lower fat dairy foods a day. Make this drink healthier by using 1 per cent fat yoghurt and only a pinch of salt.

30 g (1 oz) natural yoghurt

150 ml (5 fl oz) cold water

¼ tsp cumin powder

1 tsp salt

⅛ tsp rock salt

5-6 leaves fresh coriander leaf, finely chopped

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, add the yoghurt, water, cumin powder, salt and rock salt.

2. Whisk until the yoghurt and water are thoroughly mixed and the salt has dissolved.

3. Transfer to a glass and garnish with coriander.

4. Best served chilled.

The coriander can be substituted with mint.
