The Presidential Decree n.º 241/22 states that:
1. General Rule
The use of masks throughout the national territory is optional.
2. Exception
It is mandatory to wear masks in health units (hospitals, pharmacies and events where there are gatherings).
3. Recommendation (advice).
As a precaution, it is advisable to wear masks indoors. (not mandatory but advisable).
