Rescue and support to people affected by devastating floods in Pakistan.

In response to the devastating floods in Pakistan, in early July, which killed hundreds of people, caused severe damage to homes, businesses, cattle sheds, agricultural lands, trees and destroyed vital access roads and bridges, AKAH-Pakistan (FOCUS-funded Aga Khan Agency for Habitat) deployed rescue teams who safely evacuated more than 8,000 people before floods and landslides reached their villages.

In addition, AKAH and FOCUS have provided food, water, emergency shelter, blankets, medicines and essential non-food items to families whose homes were completely or severely damaged.
