He started travelling to the tropics frequently after secondary school and began taking photographs of fauna and flora on a trip to the Brazilian Amazon in 1996. Multiple photographic expeditions, often organised jointly with scientists or professional photographers, have led him to constitute extraordinary archives, covering various geographical areas and types of habitats as well as a large number of marine and terrestrial species. His exhibitions, shown internationally, aim to inspire admiration for wildlife and therefore the desire to protect it.
The Living Sea – Fragile Beauty, is an exhibition featuring the work of Prince Hussain Aga Khan, and celebrates the beauty and magic of the ocean, testifying to some of the most enthralling and surprising encounters the photographer has experienced under the surface. This incredible exhibition will be available from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 24 September 2022 at the Ismaili Centre, London.

No – the exhibition is open to the Jamat at all the times mentioned above; no registration or booking process is required.
2. Will we receive a tour of the exhibition?
Yes – tour guides will be available to show the Jamat around the exhibition and answer any questions you may have.
3. How long will the tour last?
The tour of all photographs will take approximately 45 minutes.
4. Can I bring multi-faith friends and family to the exhibition?
Yes – we welcome any multi-faith friends and family to join you.
5. Will there be special ‘tours’ of the exhibition for the Jamat?
