Update made on Friday 14/01, by the Angolan government regarding the current governmental measures against Covid-19.

New measures are now valid from 16/01 to 16/02.

Main modifications:

  • Quarantine no longer required for fully vaccinated citizens who arrive in Angola and have a negative test result on the Antigen test at the airport.
  • 7 Days home quarantine for non-vaccinated citizens.
  • Home isolation for those who test positive on the antigen test at the airport and do not have symptoms / Institutional isolation for those who teste positive and have symptoms.
  • Public and private services can increase their work force to 50%.
  • Public and private schools at all teaching levels can restart from 17th January.
  • Gyms allowed to reopen with 50% capacity.
  • Restaurants allowed to work until 22H00 with 75% capacity.
  • Public collective transports allowed to work with 100% capacity.

Reinforced general measures:

  • Recommendation of vaccination, including for citizen with ages between 12 and 17 years old.
  • Mandatory presentation of vaccination certificate, or a covid-19 negative test result done 48H to access restaurants, commercial establishments, public and private services, and public transportation.
  • Special protection for citizens with kids under 5 years old under their care.
  • Online Travel Registration Form continues to be mandatory.
  • Individual practice of sports in open spaces is allowed from 05H00 to 07H00 and 17H00 to 19H00 only.
  • Prohibition of festive activities in non-domiciliary location.
  • Home gatherings limited to 15 people; all in attendance must be fully vaccinated or be in possession of a negative test result taken up to 48h prior to the gathering.
  • Public gatherings in the street restricted to 10 people.
  • Beaches remain closed.
