The Senior members were requested prior to the program to take part in any one or more activities given below-
- Greetings videos
- Making Card and Poster on Imamat Day
- Providing videos of raas garba and dandiya
- Making video of favourite recipe
- Taking pledge to show positive changes in daily life
- Singing geet on the occasion of Imamat Day
Jamati Senior members participated with great enthusiasm. Members of the Committee encouraged and motivated each and every senior member personally, some needed help in recording which the committee members and the volunteers did.
Senior members send their chosen activities to the committee which the committee compiled and presented on the day.
The program started with a traditional music followed by a welcome note from the Chairperson
Members were taken back to “Purani Yadein” where the photos of previous celebrations were shown. The activities in which the Senior Jamati Members participated was also shown followed by an address from the President of the Aga Khan National Council
Raas Garba Music was played in which the Jamat with their families participated virtually
The program ended with a vote of thanks from a member of the Committee
Jamat enjoyed a lot and look forward to such programs in the future
