In the morning session, 100 students from Primary School received certificates from the Principal Mr. Craig Salmon and Head of Primary School Ms. Shatila Reza for excelling in different categories such as ‘Academic’ award, ‘Principled’ award and the ‘Most Improved’ award.

In the Secondary School program the graduation parade of 53 graduates took place in a grand manner. The graduates received certificates and gifts from the Principal Mr. Craig Salmon and Head of Secondary School Ms. Fahmida Chowdhury. 18 students received certificate for ‘Academic’,’ ECA Outstanding Achievement’ , ‘CAS Outstanding Achievement’ and ‘Sportsmanship’ award.

The Country Manager Mr. Faisal Kader gave his congratulating speech and introduced Prof. Dr. Saad Andaleeb Vice Chancellor of BRAC University who graced the occasion as chief guest. Dr. Andaleeb delivered an eloquent and inspirational speech addressing the graduates.

There was also a segment where 13 Staff of The Aga Khan School, Dhaka were awarded for their Long Service to the school. These awards were given by Directors of the Aga Khan Education Service Board Ms. Beenisha Manji and Mr. Omar Bhai.

This year AKES, B has completed 30 years of excellence in the education sector in Bangladesh. A presentation on this was made at the ceremony which enlightened the audience comprised of Parents, Students, Graduates and Teachers.
