Amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Naryn and Khorog, the University of Central Asia's Class of 2023 were honoured for their achievements today at a special convocation ceremony attended by Princess Zahra, who shared a message from Mawlana Hazar Imam.
I come from the roof of the world: the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan, a place abundant in natural beauty and unique traditions where people are known to be kind, loving, and hospitable. It was my dream to attend the University of Central Asia (UCA), but being from the remote district of Ishkashim, I always questioned whether I could compete with students from big cities and fancy schools.
Today, as final preparations for the University of Central Asia (UCA)’s upcoming convocation ceremony were under way, Princess Zahra met with government officials in Bishkek, and with students and the UCA Board of Trustees in Naryn.
It has been two years since the University of Central Asia’s first graduating class collected their hard-earned degree certificates. Today, alumni from the class of 2021 and 2022 are confidently contributing to their societies and pursuing graduate studies at renowned universities worldwide.
