Did you know that the International Art Gallery (IAG) will not only be an exhibition of talented visual art pieces from all over the globe, but also an opportunity for you to participate in workshops and panels that will engage and inspire? Learn more about the upcoming showcase of artists throughout the inaugural Jubilee Arts International Arts Festival. The exhibited artwork to be displayed in Lisbon has been selected from thousands of submissions through National Arts Festivals around the world, including painting, paper art, sculpture, three‐dimensional art, graphic design, installation art, and more.
Want to get involved? Then make sure to register for an IAG workshop, such as Mobile Phone Photography, where you’ll learn how to use your mobile device to create images that tell your stories. Learn to connect with your inner photographer to take eye-catching images and create compelling storyboards that will be sure to capture the attention of your friends, family, and social media followers.
The gallery will also host live artist demonstrations where professional visual artists will create masterpieces using raw materials such as clay, paint, and canvas in real-time, and informative and inspiring panels where audiences will learn more about various art-related topics. One of our featured panels is Homeland and Diaspora: Art and the Artist, where we will explore the role of globalisation and migration on artists and their works of art.
These are just a few of the diverse programmes on offer at the IAG as part of the inaugural International Arts Festival. Join us in Lisbon this July, or follow The.Ismaili for regular updates through email and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat).
