Alongside engaging in activities relating to initiatives of the Ismaili Imamat and the Aga Khan Development Network, Mawlana Hazar Imam will grant a Diamond Jubilee Darbar in Nairobi for the Kenya jurisdiction Jamat, which includes the Jamats of Rwanda, Burundi, Namibia, and South Africa.
Mawlana Hazar Imam has also graciously consented to the participation in this Darbar of the jurisdiction Jamats of the Malagasy Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The announcement included a reminder that members of the community are respectfully advised that access to the Diamond Jubilee Darbar will be restricted to the Kenya, Malagasy, and Congo jurisdiction Jamats. Members of the Jamat from outside these areas are therefore respectfully requested to refrain from travelling to Kenya in the expectation of being able to participate in this event.
