GETTING TO THE PALAIS
By Métro
The Palais des Congrès is located at the Place-d’Armes métro station. The station is accessible by outdoor entrances and indoors directly from the Palais. This means of transport is strongly recommended.

Bus lines 55 and 129 stop in front of the Palais des Congrès. Visit the Société des transports de Montréal (STM) website to find the best bus route for you.

Jamati members who have already registered for the Jamati bus transportation are urged to double check their departure time from Jamat Khana and return time from Palais des Congrès with the transportation and parking volunteers seated in the social hall as timings may have changed.
Jamatkhana shuttle buses will drop off Jamati members at 201 Viger O. The pick-up will be at the same place IF no other information has been given.

Shuttles to EVO hotel
For members of the Jamat who need to return to EVO hotel, a shuttle service will be available. Buses will depart Palais des Congres at 1pm and will run every 10 minutes until 2:30 pm.
In the evening, these buses will leave Palais des Congres at 8pm and will run every 10 min until 9:30 pm.

Parking near Palais des Congres
• There is no free parking on site of the Palais des Congres
• There are a number of paid parking lots around the Palais des Congres for which tickets have been sold.
Parking at Quartier International de Montréal is a 5-minute walk from the Palais des Congres, while Place des Arts is a 12-minute walk away. In both cases, do not hesitate to use the underground.
There will be a shuttle service provided to or from parking Casino de Montréal for which tickets have been sold. Shuttle buses wiil run every 5 min from 11 AM. Allow 15 minutes travel time to the Palais des Congres. Departure from Palais des Congres will start at 8pm
• If you are planning on driving, you are encouraged to map out your travel route and parking destination well in advance of your Mulaqat session as there is often construction in the downtown core.
• Carpooling and public transportation are highly encouraged and preferred.
• A number of self-paid parking lots are located near the Palais des Congres. See map below:

• Il y a plusieurs stationnements payants autour du Palais des Congrès pour lesquels des billets ont été vendus à l’avance. Le stationnement du Quartier International de Montréal est à 5 minutes de marche du Palais des Congres tandis que celui de la Place des Arts est à 12 minutes de marche. Dans les 2 cas, n’hésitez pas à utiliser les sous terrains.
Un service de navette sera disponible à destination ou en provenance du stationnement du Casino de Montréal pour lequel des billets ont également été vendus. Les navettes circuleront toutes les 5 min à partir de 11hAM. Prévoyez 15 minutes de trajet jusqu'au Palais des Congrès. Le départ du Palais des Congrès vers le stationnement débutera à partir de 20h
• Si vous prévoyez conduire, nous vous encourageons à bien planifier votre itinéraire avant votre session de Mulaqat car il y a souvent des travaux de construction dans le centre-ville.
• Le covoiturage et les transports en commun sont fortement encouragés.

There are several parking areas at or near the Palais des Congrès, including:
• Indoor parking lot (400 spots) on Chenneville Street, via Viger Ave

STATIONNEMENT VILLE MONT ROYAL
Des dispositions ont été prises avec la sécurité de Ville Mont Royal pour que les véhicules puissent être stationnés dans la rue pendant plus de 4 heures près du Jamatkhana principal mardi 21 novembre 2017.
Arrangements have been made with TMR Security to waive charges for vehicles parked on the street for more than 4 hours near Headquarters JK on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

MTCC Ceremonies:
The entrance to the MTCC South Building garage is on Lower Simcoe St, just north of Lakeshore Boulevard and just south of Bremner Boulevard. There are several parking lots around MTCC, which tend to fill up rapidly on weekdays.

Please monitor the iiCanada App for up-to-date information on transportation, parking and drop-off. Given that this is a busy location, please ensure that you leave yourself enough travel time.
Drop off at the MTCC
General Jamati Drop Off
For families with aged parents or young children who need to drop off and then park, drop-off will take place at the following locations around MTCC (this will add a minimum 20 minutes to travel time):
- Arriving from west on Gardiner (Eastbound), Exit Spadina Ave and turn left heading north bound on Spadina. Turn right on Front Street and the drop-off is available at 255 Front Street west at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building. You will have to walk from the North building to the South building (Approximately 5 – 7 min indoor walk to Wouth building with volunteers guiding the way). Volunteers will be there to usher you with wheelchairs if required.
- Arriving on DVP(southbound), exit Richmond Street and turn left on Simcoe St. Remaining on Simcoe St. take right on North Service Road just south of Front St prior to going under the underpass. The North Service lane is located just south of the Intercontinental Hotel. (Avoid the Gardiner Expressway to prevent traffic delays) The Jamat needs to be mindful that there might be an 8 - 10 minute walk (indoors) from the drop-off/pick-up locations to/from the venue. Volunteers will be in place to help the Jamat with directions.
- A Handicap drop-off is available on Bremner Blvd. across from the Rogers Center. To enter this lot, take left on Bremner Blvd. from Rees St. and left into Drop-off area. The walk from the Drop-off to MTCC South is approximately 5 minutes outdoors. Shuttle service will only be provided to MTCC South handicap Murids.
- There will be no drop-off/pick-up on Bremner Blvd. for the general Jamat.
- Police officers will direct you to the appropriate locations for drop-off/pick-up.
- For those requiring wheelchairs, volunteers will be available at the drop-off points with wheelchairs to usher the Jamat to the Mulaqat Hall. Those requiring wheelchairs during the session must bring their own.
Wheel Trans Drop Off
- Jamat members travelling on Wheel-Trans will be dropped off at the South Building, Bremner Blvd. entrance located at level 500.
- Drop-off for morning Mulaqats should take place between 7:00 - 8:30 a.m.
- Pick-up for morning Mulaqats should take place at 11:30 a.m.
- Drop-off for the afternoon Mulaqats should take place between 2:30-3:30 p.m.
- Pick-up for the afternoon Mulaqats should take place at 8:00 p.m.
- Volunteers will be at the entrance to the South Building to direct Wheel-Trans passengers to the Mulaqat Hall
- Volunteers will also be available with wheelchairs to usher Jamati members to their chairs or down to the Mulaqat Hall. Those requiring wheelchairs during the session must bring their own.
- Jamati members with access to Wheel Trans are required to book it for themselves.
- Those booking Wheel Trans should use “MTCC-S” as the booking code.
Ismaili Centre Toronto Ceremonies:
Ismaili Centre Drop Off:
Parking will NOT be permitted at the Ismaili Centre.
Drop off and pick-up only permitted for Wheel-Trans users, High Medical Needs murids and those who are unable to travel on a shuttle bus.
Please schedule your TTC WheelTrans vehicles to drop you off at the Centre at 8:00am for your session, and pickup at 12:30pm for departure.
East York Parking:
Parking and check-in for Ismaili Centre Toronto ceremonies will take place at East York from 7:00 - 8:30 am
A full security check will take place at East York and light refreshments will be available
After your security check, you will be transported to the Ismaili Centre via shuttle buses departing from East York
For those living close to the Ismaili Centre, please check in and complete security screening at a designated off-site location and arrive to the Centre via the shuttle bus. Please do not walk to the Centre
You can leave your coats and shoes in the cloak room at the Centre
The ceremony will commence at approximately 10:00 AM; following the ceremony, buses will return to East York at 12:30 PM
Details and session timings for the remaining ceremonies on Sunday and Monday will be shared shortly.
Jamati Bus Transportation - Ontario
Jamati bus registration has now closed for sessions on Friday and Saturday at the MTCC
Jamati bus transportation will only be available for the dates that the Jamat is registered for their particular session.
Jamati bus transportation will ONLY be provided to Jamati members that are 70 years of age and above OR to those that already use Jamati transport every day to get to and from Jamatkhana.
Each Jamati member who registers will only be allowed a maximum of 2 passes – one for themselves and one for an immediate family member. The buses will pick up members of the Jamat from their Jamatkhana. Bus pick up times will be communicated once the registration period closes. All passengers will pay a $5 non-refundable fee.
Jamati members who use Wheel Trans service will be required to arrange their own bus travel through Wheel Trans.
Schedule:
Morning AM pick-up times will be between 5:15 and 6:30 a.m.
Afternoon PM pick-up times will be between 12:00 (noon) and 1:00 p.m.
